If you are interested in attending the World Scout Jamboree at the Summit in West Virginia next year, the time to sign-up is now as spots are very limited. The application process is competitive (you may not get in even if you apply). 

Scouts and adults don’t forget to sign up for the Worst Case Scenario Campout on 31 May at Beaver Brook park in Hollis.  Activities begin Saturday morning on 1 June, but cabins will be available Friday night for those wanting to get in an additional night of camping.  Scenario will be published shortly. You will only need your 13 essential, a day pack and sleeping pad... the basics of survival for hiking in the White Mountains will be covered in a scenario based learning experience.  Be Prepared!  

The third annual Xtreme Descent urban rappelling challenge will take place at the Brady Sullivan Plaza (1000 Elm St, Manchester) on Saturday, September 24 starting at 10AM. Get donations from your friends, family and co-workers and get the once-in-a-lifetime chance to rappel down 24 stories and see Manchester from a whole new angle!
